A really nice "contest" this time!
I'm really happy about my 6th place :)

Wow.. this sure was a great patch contest!
Congratulations to Marcusz and the winners!

I was thinking if the winners (or anyone here) would have any sound design quick tips they like to share with the community regarding this patch contest... :)

Just a reminder:this month's contest.

I guess the turnout will be a somewhat lower, which means that those who do enter should stand a slightly better chance of winning...

Yeah thanks Brian. Great fun.

And congratulations to Marcusz and the winners.
Well done

Glad to help out, I love hearing different peoples' interpretations and inspirations. :)

That was fun, and loads of really cool patches, everyone.
And congrats to you, Marcusz!
Since everyone says "winners", well, there's just one winner, right? :)
Ah, one can dream...

Cheers

Congrats Marcusz, Circuit Touch is a fantastic patch and stood out from the start. Thanks to everyone who participated and thanks to Brain and Hakey for organizing the contest. I had a lot of fun.

A trick that I discovered while making my patches for the contest...

Send after-touch (or any performance control) through a lag generator and play with the rise and fall parameters to create a pseudo envelope that you can engage independently of the main envelopes.

Me too, that's a good one, I love that you can do that. Makes using Aftertouch a lot smoother and more natural for movement.

Well, you just won yourself a coffee in my office. It's just the U7 from Herrmanplatz to Richard-Wagner-Platz and 5 minutes by foot. I'd be interested in discussing a little trade with you... next week or so?

Oh yes, and congratz to Marcusz! (press [e-mail] button on left hand side of this post)

I learned how to get that XMF-ish filter sound during this contest.
Posted these patches in the Bazille Patch Contest Thread also.

Tempting...won't be in Berlin next week, but I will be at the Musikmesse on Saturday. You're probably there, right? We could make further plans right there and then, if that suits you.

Cheers!

Thank you all for the kind words. Special thanks to bmrzycki and hakey for the work you've done running the contest and getting the word out.

And, of course, thank you Urs. As someone who was brand new to modular synths when I came across this contest, I found Bazille extremely easy to get into and fun to get lost in. It's a lovely beast.

Hehe, we're skipping Saturday. Clemens, Howie and I will roam the Messe on Thursday and Friday...

No worries, we'll find a date!

Don't trust those with words of weakness, they are the most aggressive
