Hello-
Can Thesys have an action assigned to forward/backward
that is triggered by some sort of note/gate/or command?
Are there any random variables to add some funk?
Any Logic XOR for triggers/gates?
I'm fascinated by another sequencer on another platform,
but not so much with buying the hardware to support that
platform and jumping through the hurdles to synchronize
everything and share monitors... etc.
(I will if I have to... but looking at alternatives that get me
making music quicker. I've got enough random technical
challenges as it is )
Thx-
Nathaniel

You have different play modes (forward,back,rnd,2nd,...). And you can midi learn the play mode. In individual mode you can seperatly set the playmode for each track. You can also midi learn all the other randomize functions and fire them when you want. I am not sure what else you are missing.

Maybe it's me.. But that's the only way I can get the modulation section to automate/control these features (by sending out CC data/Midi learn). If there is another way, please help..
BTW, the more time one spends with Thesys, the more intriguing it gets..
