Didn't read this - I'm a little lost lately

Well we're hoping to accomodate both the organic and the electronic crowd with this one, so that's a compliment. Still got some work to do but the I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results

yes, i did indeed mean that as a compliment - my songs that people have reacted to lately have been where i used ACE like a harp or string section.. it has a great quality similar to virus when it comes to strings.. i look forward to checking out the finished product!

after reading your post I started working heavily on adding some very natural sounding performance mods to compliment the sounds. I'll try to get some demos up to show how the modwheel and velocity mapping sounds on these..

Textures demo 2 really shows off the character of the ACE filters and your programming Reason. Very nice work!

We're adding individual demo sounds, as well as some instruments to test out, to give people a better opportunity to see what we're creating. Here's the first, a soft texture/pad with modwheel control of granular-like effects:

I like it. Has nice movement and some nice organic graininess. Bookmarked this thread so I can watch for the release - I'm sold.
