Nope... time stretching is good for sampled material and neither use samples...

:dog: Had I thought about the fact that there are no samples used in these I could have saved kvr disk space :dog:

The stuff that's going on in my Time Manipulation patches for MFM2 is also possible with the delays in Zebra.

Set the delay to 100% wet, with the feedback at zero. Modulate the delay time with an upward ramp. When the LFO rate equal to the delay time, you'll get reverse delays. When the LFO speed is slower than the delay time, you'll get time stretching (to a certain extent). The outcome isn't always pretty and you'll get some artifacts but using this technique it's possible to get some outrageous results.

Try setting delay time to 1/1 and an upward ramp LFO to at base rate of 1/1, use the LFO to modulate the delay time with 100% depth. Now try modulating the phase of the LFO with an MSEG. Instant time bending.

Hmm! Very cool idea! kind of a "faux" time stretch may be? I'll try it!

It's real time-stretching, it's just that the delays weren't designed with this functionality in mind (as far as I know), so the results can be glitchy.

You can time stretch any sound made in Zebra by halving the speed of all envelopes, lfo's and MSEGs. That's the beauty of synthesis :hihi:

Hmm, slowing all times! I'll try that one aswell, thanks Sendy!

An attempt to replicate time stretching in Zebra 2
Contains four clips made with 4 different presets.

This could be a very fun project.
