I'm trying to modulate OSC1's pitch with Env2's decay, which is modulatedby the ModMapper, but it's not working. The Env pitch change can be heard but the Modmapper is not changing Env2's decay.

Bug or missing feature?

FMO1: Tune modulated by Env2(25)
Matrix: ModMap1(100) via (empty) -> Env2 Decay
Env2: Att:0,Dec:23,Sus:0,Rel:23

The ModMapper is set to Key/none with a resolution of 12 (for a scale).

Am I doing it right?

cheers :)

Hmmm... env params have always been tricky to modulate, and using the Modmapper might complicate things further (modmappers are evaluated *after* envelopes). You might have to delay the Decay phase by about 64 samples.

Try setting Attack to, say, 5.00. It should still be as fast as any analog synth's attack, but it might give the modmapper time enough to "take".

Otherwise please send me the patch, I'd like to test things out...

Interesting - setting the Attack to 6 gave the ModMapper enough time to make-the-difference, like you said. I guess you know your stuff! ;)

However, by using the Env Delay function on the multi-use first button, and setting that to 6, and putting Attack back to zero, I can achieve the desired effect :)

cheers
