Brand new Receptor Pro with Komplete6 inside. Kontakt loaded in two channels one with grand piano sound one with pad sound. Un-playable due to amount of clicks and glitches even with all effects disabled. Is this normal? can anyone help? I have buffer set at 256!
I have Ivory bought and ready to install but thinking twice about it.
Any thoughts appreciated
Thanks

I can't trouble shoot the problem, but I can tell you with a fair amount of confidence that the problem is not that Receptor is unable to normally handle what you have instantiated. You might check the CPU meter to see if there are any spikes. It's possible that too many Kontakt scripts are running and overloading the CPU, but that would be unlikely. Also you might check the audio mixer levels to make sure you are not over driving the mixer (on Receptor channel and mains). Otherwise I think I'd open a ticket as it could be a loose audio card inside Receptor or some other hardware problem.
I'm guessing you probably already checked your other audio components, but sometimes it's easy to overlook the obvious. Good luck.

I have the same issue, riverdance!
I noticed that, if i save the samples, the problem disappears for the current session.
However, at the next Receptor reboot, the problem is there again.
I suppose it is a matter of hard disk read operations. CPU and RAM under control.
Ivory works great for me as well.

For some reason Kontakt is hard to handle for Receptor...I wish they would make it better someday.
Try to take reverb off in Kontakt...It helps a lot for me...
Yes, Ivory works like a charm.

There is a known bug in the latest version of Kontakt involving multicore processing. We recommend that you turn OFF multi core processing inside Kontakt 4.X and turn off dual core mode in Receptor; that will likely cause the glitching to stop. We are working with Native to fix the problem... and older versions of Kontakt do not exhibit this behavior. Ivory has no known issues and in fact runs down to 32-samples with great stability!riverdance wrote:Brand new Receptor Pro with Komplete6 inside.
