Prices at Amazon vary quite a bit. After I bought the original Steve Morse model from them a while back, the price increased around 40%.
Too bad it's beyond my current budget. New ones like this one are usually around $1800-$2000.

What I meant is:

It is around $150 cheaper if you want to get all 5.

$99 for each (ezsounds price) * 5 =$495

...but if you get all of them here you save a bunch of $$

Not be critical, because from everything I've read, this is an excellent orchestral package, but the deal doesn't seem all that hot to me, considering the $99 promo that's on-going now, not to mention the MF total bundle deal from earlier this week...

I haven't checked to see how it's distributed, but there's also a (presumably additional) 5% off code for d/l items and 10% off for boxed items.

www.woodbrass.com are having a pretty good sale. I don't know much about then apart from they are based in Paris.

I got a Behringer T1 Tube Mic for £80 (including shipping to UK). Should be an OK starter one but I'll probably end up changing the valve in it.

EDIT: Whilst the prices are great and my order was shipped quickly, the customer service isn't very good. They don't answer the phone and there's been no reply to emails after 2 days.

You have been warned.

EDIT 2: They called me today and resolved all my issues. I guess they are just really busy with the sale or read this. Also, I'm not known for my patience.

I'm mentioning this one out of nostalgia as much as anything else:

It's Magix Samplitude 11.5 Producer for $99 direct download. Usually goes for about $190.

For those of you who don't remember, Magix used to compete in the entry-level market with their Music Studio series for around $40 - $50. It was actually composed of two programs, Audio Studio and MIDI Studio, one of them with old Logic code at the core. Often didn't suck, though could be buggy.

I suspect that Reaper probably killed those sales. They abandoned that market a couple of years back, and went upscale a bit. Now it's all one program, with, I think, Samplitude code from a version or two back at its core.

I can't even find any reviews on it from a quick google. For all I know, it might rock hard as a cut-down version of Samplitude.
