there are no samples involved, it's all realtime va synthesis - that's also why it consumes quite a bit of cpu power; the file size itself is only marginal

Any guys from Muse would explain this?
Thanks

I've never had an issue with the mixer restarting. OP-X is pretty cpu hungry on my Receptor 2 Standard though. I can only run 1 or 2 (less less demanding)plug ins along with it. It really does sound awesome!
Please CLARIFY!!! Does this mean that only one (1) instance of OPX PRO2 can run without crashing? I'm still debating/contemplating over this whole RECEPTOR idea. What good is this unit if you can't load up multiple OPX's and create huge stacked layers without the RECEPTOR crashing. Please clarify.
thanks

I only use mine for simple stuff now since I can't sell it for any thing. It's not strong enough to do heavy duty hosting. I built my own and use it to do the heavy work.
A minor scale is a major scale starting 3 half steps down from the major and visa versa. Any Chord has as many versions as it has notes.

I'm pretty sure the Pro Max will handle multiple instances of OPX-PRO 2.
I just have the Receptor 2 Standard... with one instance of OPX and a few other plugs the cpu meter sometimes spikes.
