Yes, tried that but it looked too black/dark, imho.
I also tried a less saturated color (i.e. more gray-ish) but then the whole site lacks some sweet coloring.

Most reactions i get (also emailed other people about this) say it's a nice color scheme. At the same time, some people don't like the background that much. I guess that's the typical 'tastes and colors' aspect..?

True, after all it depends on individual 'tastes and colors'

Just a suggestion, maybe the blue to orange from the logo would work? Like the background here:

That would really make it very Mu.Lab-like

That's a nice idea, i'll experiment with it, eventhough MuTools is more than MuLab alone. (currently MuLab is the main product, but more to come)

I like the new design.

but I think you can make the Company Page in a single subject include About, Bio and Contact in one single page.
and you also can put your photo for you Bio, Jo

about the colour background.
maybe I prefer if the brownish colour to be the inside colour.
and the greyish colour to be the main background colour.
you can see how effective it is in KVR web

I like the old button.
the new highlite button is too much for me.

It didn't work out, keeping the current design for now.

Good idea.. And that also gives way again to try with other inside colors (like blue, are maybe greenish)

Thanks for the latest suggestions about alternative color schemes. Checked some things out, but decided to stick with the current coloring.

The new MuTools website has been finalized and activated.

Just checking ....

On the Support page, is the link to the "MuLab Tutorials" page currently disabled ?

It's doesn't seem to be working here (Firefox / Windows 7).
