Another bug with Mautoequalizer. I used in my stereo out master section. I used the two analyze buttons and after that, the equalization. Until this all is good, but if I try now to set some filters on my own in this equalization, this functions, but i can only boost and cut -1 until -2 db, but i wanted to cut -24db. This don't work. I hope you understand me and will take a look at this.

Hmmm, I really don't. What you mean by you "cannot"? A screenshot? Don't you have dry/wet set to 10% or something like that?Svama wrote:Another bug with Mautoequalizer. MFilter seems to be taking up absurd CPU now. I created a new session in Reaper, and put MFilter on one track. When MFilter is visible in the FX window, Reaper's CPU usage goes from 6% to 30%. This is without anything playing, and the analyzer is turned off.
Also, while Reaper's CPU usage goes up, the usage shown for that particular effect instance is constant, about 1%.

Hmmm, I checked and everything seems fine. What is your OS and CPU? It is obviously related to GUI, but you say the analyzer is disabled. Can you record some scree-video?

Not sure what I could use to record video. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit (Using 32-bit Reaper though). CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2GHz. Also, played around a bit more. The CPU only goes up when the GUI is in advanced mode. The simple mode isn't an issue.

And with 4.02 it was fine? How much CPU did it take?TFF wrote:Not sure what I could use to record video. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit (Using 32-bit Reaper though). CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 2GHz. Are you 100% sure about that? Aren't you talking about the CPU meter in Reaper which I understand shows still the same values, right?TFF wrote:Around 1%. Maybe up to like, 3% with modulation.

Ah, I should've been clear. The instance CPU usage would be about 1-3%, but Reaper's total CPU usage wouldn't really spike at all. Is it possible for me to download 4.02 again? I can do some more accurate testing.

Hmmm, that would be better I guess. So far I haven't found any problems. For MFilter use this:TFF wrote:Ah, I should've been clear. k, just did a comparison. In a session with one track with one instance of MFilter on it:
With 4.02 Reaper's CPU usage is around 3%. Opening the plugin GUI brings it up to 6% momentarily, then back to 3%.
With 5.00b, and the plugin not visible, Reaper's CPU usage hovers from 5-9%. Opening the GUI brings it up to 42% momentarily, then it stabilizes around 30%.
EDIT: The numbers I gave above are for Reaper's total usage. The number given for the plugin instance is insignificantly small in both cases.

I think I found it - it seems that the analyzer is redrawing the window even if it is disabled. Will fix it and the final release should have it ok. Though it's weird, because on my 3GHz i7 it does like 3-4%, so it is even hard to measure.

You have more pics of the new interfaces. That was what was holding me back on the creative suite.

Ah, good to hear. I think I found something else though. In Renoise 2.7, the knobs on the simple page on some of the plugins don't draw correctly. I haven't gone through all of them, but I've observed this with MFilter, MMultibandPhaser, and MMultibandHarmonizer.
I'd also like to take this time to thank you again for making such awesome plugins, and getting on top of things like this as quickly as you do.
