Tip: If the circular behavior of the knobs is bugging you (as it did me) it can be changed here: CONFIG button, 'Control KnobMode', change to "Linear"

This thing is a blast to play. I'd have to agree with earlier posters - the pick dynamics and the response to the volume control is right on the money and the Fender and Marshall amp characters are quite authentic.
One thing I would really want in this is to be able to import the full redwirez set and navigate them via a hierarchical menu (eg nested folders) as you do in iFace - there are too many to navigate via a simple list.
Any chance that the developers would allow users to import the Redwirez Big Box set en bloc (and maybe Recab 2.1 Complete too which many have)?

Here's an improv in B minor. You can hear me playing with the volume knob; notice how smooth the taper is along with the change in gain and tone. There's something special happening here
I imported some of my own RedWirez impulses, including a GREAT room sound from the "Celestion-Blue12" speaker set. You can hear it on the clean tone using the "Duke" amp model. The file is "CelestionBlue12-KM84-StereoRoom" if anyone is curious. The "Pro Convolver" recognizes it as a stereo impulse and reacts according. Very nice!
The guitar tones are all S-Gear followed by a low-pass/high-pass filter. Clean tone is the "Duke Chorus Clean" preset with the Celestion-Blue12 IR (mentioned above) substituted for the cab. Lead is the Duke "Touch Sensitive" preset as-is. The rest is pickup switching, the guitar's volume knob and playing dynamics. Enjoy

awesome Rich...

S-Gear is pretty dynamically responsive right out of the box. Amplitube takes a bit more tweaking to get a nice responsive sound out of it.

I can't get the plugin to work here. Anyone else using Windows 7 64-bit? Won't work in stand-alone, nor in 64-bit Cubase 6 (either with our without jBridge). Loads but wont pass any audio.
Also tried loading into MiniHost. Audio passes, but it is unprocessed.

One take doodling. Noisy and messy but I thought someone might be interested. This is just load a couple of presets and record one rhythm and one lead track.
Please let me know if this would be taken as discouragement for potential S-Gear buyers
. It's a great product and I wouldn't want to give the wrong impression.

The only discouragement : you have to download it manually, link doesn't work.
Some info would be nice however, guitat, interface and what amp ?
Wild guess : Jackal for lead (great sound !), Stealer for rhythm ?
I might be wrong though.

As susiwong points out, it took some work to find it. Hey, I dig the riff (run) at 0:35. Nice workmorelia wrote:https://sites.google.com/site/moreliasi ... S-Gear.mp3
I like the trend in this thread. Let's keep the musical conversation going with more clips

Nice, soulful piece Andrew! Very tasty indeed
Here's another lil' vignette using the "Jackal" model for cleans and "Stealer" model for leads: http://www.box.net/shared/n5jf99rt29
