Hi,
Can anyone who's installed MDrummer Small in MuLab describe how they did it? When I go to add the .dll in the plugin manager I get a red error-box of death. This is regardless of which dll I try to add (in the MDrummer VST directory, not in the VST directory, 1out, 16out, etc.)

Suggestions:
-> Also search the web/kvr for similar crash reports for MDrummer.
-> Also ask the creators of MDrummer.
Maybe you did this already?

Google finds very little, apart from someone posting that adding [MDrummer path]/VST/MDrummer.dll in MuLab works (crashed for me).mutools wrote:Suggestions:

On KVR it looks like Mihai and Simon Posford use/used it in MuLab, so I'm hoping they'll see this

When i did a quick google about this earlier today, i remember seeing something about resetting the config file(s) of MDrummer. Does that help?

Hi
I used MDrummer and didn't had any problem, but that was quite a while ago. I don't remember what version of Mu.Lab and MDrummer I had. Now I have new versions of everything but just didn't install MDrummer yet. For now I use Cakewalk Session Drummer and Drum Core 3 Demo (2 full drum sets, non expiring).
I will install the new MDrummer and I'll write when I'll do that.

Hi nicenoise,
I use successfully mdrumer 4 full version in the latest mulab build.
But if i remember they was a prob with the free version when mdrummer 4 just come out.
I suggest to redownload the free mdrummer uninstall the previous one reboot and install the new one and not the 64 bit version if u want to use it in mulab.
Say to us if it's worked:)

I really don't like the sound of session drummer , and drumcore 3 is good but i prefer addictive drums free version give it a try!(Drumcore had only 3 or 4 layer). So i use it sometime i like the free kit and i own the zorro kit but AD drum is really more realistic (don't forget to use the gm midi map if u try it.sorohanro wrote:Hi

Beat===>and there's a selector for the midi map at the bottom (it's wrote default or startup so use the gm)

It was something to do with the config after all. It seems that just running MDrummerConfig.exe and not changing any settings fixes the crashing problem. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=318741
