Hi,
I'm trying to install MDrummer Small as a VST plugin in MuLab (host from mutools.com). Regardless of which DLL I add to ML's plugin manager, it crashes the host immediately:
MDrummer.dll
MDrummer16out.dll
MDrummer1out.dll
MDrummerDemo1out.dll
I tried the DLLs in the MDrummer root folder and the ones in the VST folder, but they look identical in any case.
Mdrummer.exe and MDrummerDemo.exe both work ok.
Any idea?

Please try to run MDrummerConfig and if that won't help we'll figure it out somehow.

MDrummerConfig shows 3 tabs - default, directsound and asio4all. asio is highlighted. Sample rate 44100, priority highest, buffer size 4096, channel count 1, channel 1 = IDT audio 1 + IDT audio 2, MIDI in parameters [blank], status OK, latency 13ms.
The test sound works ok in all 3 tabs.
Do you know which dll I should be loading into MuLabs by the way? I'm running 32-bit Windows XP.
Thanks,
nn

Ok, that sounds ok. Does it still crash?
You should be using 32-bit versions, so you are fine. With 64-bit it wouldn't even load.

I just loaded MuLab, new session, plug-in manager, added MDrummer/VST/MDrummer.dll and it loaded without crashing - excellent. Maybe running MDrummerConfig did the trick.
Thanks for your help. I'm off to play with it now

It's definitely MDrummerConfig, whenever you have some problem, just run it and it will hopefully fix it
.
