You have a recommendation of Kirnu on the previous post page, in the top, hehe.
I never used an arpeggiator before, i always make my own arpeggios.
Maybe it's time to take a look.
Good Luck!

Thank you kindly sir for your very helpful tutorial, I will give it a go after work today.IrionDaRonin wrote:Kirnu as Midi controller in a MidiTrack, not as effect. Kirnu is not an audio arpegiator.
I made this quick tutorial for you. Just follow the numbers in the next list and in the image.
- 1.- Put Kirnu Output Midi port channel 1
2.- Put the synth you want to be controlled via Midi (in this case i used DaHornet) Input midi port channel 1
So you have a link between them.
3.- Play chords or notes in Kirnu midi track in your DAW.
4.- The synth (controlled via Midi by Kirnu) should play sound now.
Just make the same in your DAW.
Good luck!
Oh, i wanted to ask something before i start the song.V'ger wrote:Just another reminder to all not to alter the samples like pitch or envelopers etc after sampling, sampling is only meant to be a CPU saver and triggered so that it in no way would sound ANY different to what it would out of the synth.
Yes, i think i could just let them there. Or use 'Smart disable' option or deactiving it.V'ger wrote:If I understand correctly that would be the same as bouncing and is the best and safest way to do it. Adding effects to those loops or parts can be done freely as you would if it was the synth.
But do you have to delete the synth after sampling/bouncing? Can't you just disable it or is that not an option in FL?
About your last question, yes, all genres are welcome.Acronym wrote:Hi Y'all,
I also want to paticpate in this challenge, its a great synth! Thanks to Urs!
I'm glad to see that using Samplers is allowed. Unfortunatly Highlife doesn't work on my system and because it crashes in cubase. So would it be okay to use Shortcircuit instead Highlife, if it has to be a Freewaresampler? (I'd prefer to you Poise as drumsampler, though I think this would break the rule.)
Is it ok to use the adsr settings of the Sampler?
BTW in the Song I started for this competition I experienced that the cpu usage is zero, when deactivating Tyrell. So I don't delete Tyrell and just deactivate it, so just in case I can tweak the Sounds.
And one last question are all genres Welcome?
