Hi Vojtech, thanks for the great update. And for the new MModernCompressor, just bought it and sounds sweet. Quite flexible and it appears it can be pushed quite hard.
I noticed fluctuations in the CPU usage with all of the plugs I tried: MFreebundle, MMultibandDynamics and MModerCompressor (all registered, if that matters). With MEqualizer in particular, I get a severe CPU usage increase when activating the sonogram.
More in depth: with 6 bands activated and analyzer on, I get 0.12% FX CPU usage and 1,9% CPU (but fluctuating up to 2.7%). When switching on the sonogram, I get 0.23% FX CPU, but the CPU spikes up to 25% and above.
Version is 5.00, tested on Reaper 32bit after noticing the behaviour in Cubase 6. OS is Win 7 x64. Can look deeper in both hosts' x86 and x64 versions, if needed.

Thank you Amon!
With the CPU usage this is normal. Sonogram takes a lot of it, but most of it is drawing. It can be easily decreased by lower speed of redrawing, but that would mean it would start "jumping". Anyway right now it affects the painting only, which means when the processing needs more CPU, it will have it, and if you start running out of horsepower, the graphics starts lagging, that's all.

Yeah, I guess it takes a lot of power, I was not getting why the FX CPU was that lower compared to the CPU. Probably my PC knowledge is not advanced enough
In any case, the fluctuations affect all of the plugs - seems like the CPU hit gets "multiplied" by x2 and x3 and keeps stepping (i.e. 0.04%, 0.08%, 0.04%, 0.12%, 0.8% and so on). This happens with the plugs either processing or not the audio. I noticed it because I remember the CPU hit to remain almost totally static with v4.02... of course telling if this is graphics-related is beyond my knowledge as well

I think this is just a coincidence. You are talking about microscopic numbers of 0.04%, so just a simple background task could cause that.
The reason why the numbers are stepping is probably because the division of the timer - timer hosts use to measure how much time the processing takes (and thus how much CPU it used) is measured in milliseconds, but the OS is actually creating it from some internal clock, which is not so accurate. Moreover when you think about the calculation from time to CPU percents, it will inevitably cause a stepping like this. So don't worry

No, no, I was not worrying. Just reporting a slightly different behaviour in case it could help - probably testing this with several instances would have proven everything's fine.
And, man... you're not fast, you're zero-latency

Is there any reason to install the final v5 if one already have the v5 beta?
I tried the update internal totalbundle update system, but it said there were no new updates..!?

Yes there is. It is not available via the update manager, because the the changes are small, but I still recommend it as it fixes a few bugs. You just need to download new installer and install it over the previous one, no need for uninstallation or anything.mljung wrote:Is there any reason to install the final v5 if one already have the v5 beta?

Thanks for the update, just done it now.
One question, do I need to re-register the ones I have ? I can't see it asking for my license file, so I assume it remained registered ok ?

When I load the V5 versions in FL STudio 10.0.2, the sound gets much louder for your plugins than it used to. Can you check out the plugins in the latest FL Studio demo? I have to turn the input or output of your plugins down like 9db, when I didn't have to before at all.
Bug? When I load MMultibandTremolo, the default phase difference should be 0 (right?). It is when I right click the % number. It resets to 0. When I first load MMultibandTremolo in a project, the phase difference is set to 50%.
Same with MAutoequalizer. I throw it on a track and all of a sudden I'm clipping like crazy.

Thank you for the info. Anyway I know about that. It is causeb by FL Studio's surround handling, we have been discussing it with ImageLine and they will fix it probably. There is also freezing with VST3, which should be fixed as well. Anyway today (hopefully) I should release 5.00c, which will besides other fixes disable surround by default, as also Studio One has problems with it.
With MMultiBandTremolo - this is correct, it's part of the default active preset (I guess you noticed the knobs on the easy screen

I have to admit I saw the easy screen for a second but switched to the other. I have been using Melda plugins for a while. No easy view for me (I like having more options at all times).
Why have a default tremolo preset that doesn't tremolo? No biggie though. I can easily change it. Reverted back to v4 until the surround issue gets sorted.
