Update progress???

The good news: I'm working full speed on M4 and M4 is progressing. The sad news: The last weeks i encountered several tough technical issues which i'm working on right now. It's all about improving, enriching and optimizing the modular system. So that includes the Mu-synths, Mu-effects etc. Forgive me i don't list too many details here, but it just makes no sense to list details when they're still too hot to handle. M4 still is hot magma.
Earlier this year i hoped to be able to release a first M4 test version in May, but unfortunately that has become irrealistic. I'm still hoping a first M4 test version can be released before beginning of july, so that's within 6 weeks. That's more a dreamy estimation than a rational estimation, the problem is that it is so difficult to predict where there will popup a problem or usability bottleneck. But be sure i'm very much looking forward to open M4 to you, and so i'm doing my very best to let things evolve as fast as possible, while ensuring top sound quality.
Talk soon, ping me whenever you want

Absolutely.
It's not much what tool you start the fire with, but what you're going to cook with it!
(I'm Italian, I need some how to talk about food here and there...)

Just checking in to say I got back into using MU.LAB recently, and of course I wasn't disappointed! Simple yet capable—one of which is just like myself
—and a lot more stuff now included (especially the bundled devices and presets). I'm looking forward to future releases, and quite possibly upgrading from Free when money is a bit more readily available.

Yeah, times are tough, but this software is so worth it. I love using it.

MuLab 4 status update:
MuLab 4 R&D is 80% ready. It's a tough dev cycle, but most has been done. It starts to feel good
The remaining 20% includes some final technical bottlenecks, some nice wishes related to the composer and polishing works.
When that's all done M4 will be opened for testing. I hoped to already start the test phase now, but that didn't work out, a pity.
M4's main focus is on the modular sound engine which will show many improvements and extensions.
And one of the highlights will be the MuDrum, a very usable and powerful drum device. I've been thinking of showing some screenshots, but then what's the sense of it, as you can't play it via a screenshot. And to be honnest i don't like to show too unfinished things.
It all takes much more time than estimated.
But the good thing is that it's really getting closer.
So the M4 progress bar has been updated.
I'm leaving now a summer break, some time offline, away from the screen.
Recharging batteries, decompressing the brain, enjoying the sun, water, nature, friends, music...
Talk soon!

Seriously, enjoy your holidays. Hope learning all the new stuff and solving problems with it has been fun as well as difficult

I was looking at the "MuLab 4 R&D progressbar" and I was wondering which color (Green or Black) represents the progress...
JUST KIDDING!!! I just can't wait for the pleasure to use M4!
