Bah! A complicated mess. I just don't think you should have to have more than one plug open at a time ;)

The committee has been formed.

"where's our tuner" "where's our tuner"

:D

ear's the deal...you should know that already

you couldn't swing a dead cat by the tail in my studio without hitting something with a tuner. In fact that's the only thing I use my POD xt live for right now because one signal goes to the POD anyhow. I only have one tuner that I bought and it's one of those little korgs and that's for my dulcimer so I can lay it on the wood under the strings. I don't like the tuner in VANDAL tbh

For years I never owned a tuner, I use to tune to songs...but that was back in the day of playing to my favorite lps and tapes...I kinda miss doing that (jamming to my favorite bands/artists), sometimes I jam to a piece of a song going from listening to to recording but that's about it

I'm just really in the mood to simplify....not add more steps to everyting. Anyways, I have inadvertently moved the thread in different direction......again.....

I'm really glad I learned about the tip (so nice not to see those knobs jumping around!) and will play with it some more. Seems like a nice sim.

@examples: All great examples of how good this can sound.....lot's of potential!

It just keep crashing reaper.

Post

It crashes Reaper when a project has be saved with the S-Gear window opened. I've reported this bug to the developper.

Hmmm... not seeing that here. I have a couple of lightweight test projects using 3.76, and haven't seen crashes. This is on a single-core PC, WinXP.... maybe multicore is a problem...

Haven't seen that either. I should also add my reaper tests were with an non-activated (demo) S-Gear.

It could be the x86 bridge anyway, it's standalone or nothing right now.

Oh........I am installed the 32 bit reaper later today so I'll try that.

Hi everbody,

This is my first post on KVR, and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone on this thread for your interest in S-Gear. :D

I want to let you know that we found a problem running under Reaper (all recent versions) which causes S-Gear to crash when using playback loops. The problem does not occur with Sonar, Cubase or Tracktion. There have been some commments about a crashing problem with Reaper, but thanks to a detailed problem report received yesterday, I was able to identify the problem easily.

There will be a fix in the next release, along with fixes for some other things as noted on the Known Problems section on our Download page. This release will also include MIDI program change/controller support. We will be testing this week and will keep you posted when it is ready to go.
