hello
i use for few days the full MMasteringBundle, sounds not bad for premastering procedure. i just guess when i deactivate or activate the plugins for the comparing for example on wavelab or Nuendo the marker spring fu seconds forwards not at the place where it should be.

i dont have this when i use T-RACKS 3 DELUXE from IK Multimedia when i activate or deactivate the plugins for omparing the mastering sound.

anybody has any idea about the thing or have the same behaviour ? or may be im doing something wrong ?
greetz.

Hi,

I don't really know about this, I'll check it out. Though I have found the most software (especially from Steinberg) on Mac really has some "specialties" :). First I think it would be to update Wavelab. Btw. does the "Bypass" button the plugins do that too? Note that when you use a plugin with latency (MSpectralDynamics and all linear-phase equalizers), then the plugin must recalculate the whole sequence, which could explain it.

thats right Steinberg were not specialiste when its goes about Mac gears, but i must say this became much better, in the other hand im suffering with my 32 bit Nuendo 5 in my 64 bit Mac machine, hope this gone be updated soon and may be this can be also the problem then the problem is when i bypass or activate the plugin this will take few seconds to hear the result and that with all the Melda plugins on WL7 or N5, other plugins such IK multimedia has not this behaviour.

all my programs i use are updated, just to be clear im not talking about the plugins latency im about the result timing when i bypass or activate the plugins theres a delay so i hear the result after few seconds.
cheers

Hi Emilio, I just checked on Leopard and newest Wavelab 7 and Cubase 6. Unfortunately I found nothing wrong in VST nor VST3. In Cubase there was a little lag when a plugin gets "unbypassed", but even the Cubase included effects do that. In Wavelab there was always a little lag, like say 200-300ms, but again, even the Wavelab included effects do that. You are talking about seconds, could you send me a screen video, so I can see it in real? (to info@meldaproduction.com)

hi Vojtech
yes im talking about the lag, i didnt remark this on steinberg when i un-bypass the plugins. need to cheki it up but on the Mmastering bndl. its really about 2-3 seconds i tryed on Mstereo procesor, Dynamik limiter etc ...

in fact its not a big problem its just a question of usage. first day i was a little irritated but now is like ok. sure i'll send u a video about the thing. may it helps you for something.

Hmm, that's weird, 2-3 seconds is a hell of a lot! Please send me a video when possible.
