Yeah, my daughter's mentioned her also. Very stylish. Same with the Batteries Duo.
Loopers and such have given solo musicians the opportunity to do their thing without needing the support of pesky accompanists (What's a drummers last words before the band fires him? "Hey, lets do one of my songs!") :)

What's cool about electronic music is it also gives people who may not have great dexterity and coordination the ability to express themselves musically. Biggest problem now (as evidenced here, for example), is there's too much talent, and not enough time to listen and follow an artist's work.

Can't wait to see the results of the voting (will Urs vote  ?) Meanwhile, I will be consumed with my kids, finishing the OSC, and deciding whether to buy the fragile, useless to me, but loads-of-fun Dark Star synth this guy's selling on Craigslist :D

Here are my votes.

1. Drumloop (maybe not the most versatile drum loop, but a very effective patch given the constraints)
2. something moist and plucked (not an overly fancy sound, but effective)
3. Tyder (I'm a sucker for this style of bass sound)
4. Pendula +
5. Hugey Pad

Last call for votes! We're down to 15 minutes remaining!

Voting is closed!

And now our top 3 presets:

1. Nerve Runners (+ModWheel): 44 points - Breeze
2. Pad - 7th wave: 36 points - compazz13
3. something moist and plucked: 35 points - xh3rv

Congratulations Breeze on well-earned and difficult competition win!

(I'd appreciate it if someone else could tally up the points to double-check my math....)

Congrats Breeze! Again 8-)

Congrats Breeze ...and all contestants! This was a very cool contest with lots of great patches and thanks to Urs, Brian and Hakey for the obvious...

If anybody learned something during this contest, you can share here! :)

I learned that using sync with fm cold generate a great variety of tones (including many acoustic ones) + combined with the super "voice" feature, Tyrell is unbeatable... I assume that DIVA will be glorious!

And in case you didn't notice you can use the BP filter mode as a phaser.

I got like 30 patches I've made durring this competition...
Will be posting them here after optimisations. :)
So stay tuned... you don't wanna miss out on "the... best Tyrell patches ever made" :hihi: .... well at least a couple of them :D

C ya! :)

Congrats, Breeze! :hail:
