Yes! I've made a tone of patches sweeping the BP around - good fun!3ee wrote:And in case you didn't notice you can use the BP filter mode as a phaser.
Now that voting is closed - dying to know if Urs had a personal favorite(s)

Might be an idea to start a new thread where people can share their left over contest patches, or new ones they've come up with since.3ee wrote:I got like 30 patches I've made durring this competition...
Will be posting them here after optimisations.

That's always too difficult for meJoeCat wrote:dying to know if Urs had a personal favorite(s)
I do however always like those patches that make me scratch my head while I go "How did they do this...?"

if you use VCF as one of sources in ring mod with BPF, you can restore considerably low order harmonics even with BPF way up. Actually, ringModFeedback is IMveryHO single greatest feature of TN6 (among bunch of really great features). I have made one cute bass patch with sine osc only, where all of the tone is "tone of filter".3ee wrote:If anybody learned something during this contest, you can share here!![]()
Thanks to Urs, Brian and Hakey. And thanks to Urs one more time. BTW, are Tyrell specs "set in stone" or we can expect some additonal feature here and there.
BTW2 Wet Beaver is homage to Swollen Pickle, Super Hardon and rest of toung-in-cheek pedals. Just like them, Tyrell is a bit esoteric (in market sense), with only features you actually need and (big AND) supreme sounding.

You're all welcome. I'm happy to help out, it means I and everyone else get to hear some pretty incredible presets. I think it also builds a sense of community surrounding the u-he toolchain. Good stuff all around.
Of course, I'd be lying if I wasn't a teensy bit relieved the next patch contest is 5 weeks away. This PC and the Bazille ones were quite a bit of work to tally and organize presets!

Yes, congrats to Breeze, and thanks to all who facilitated and took part. Top job everyone!
First ever preset competition...quite new to all this. A great thrill to see some of you voting for one of my presets amongst this lot. I have booked appointments with the ear doctor for you

Wow! Thanks all!
I have to admit that it could have gone many ways, there were more than a few interesting patches. Maybe it was the name
Actually, Nerve Runners was derived from PumpinSyncBass... Fed up with optimizing that preset, I started slowing down the envelopes and introducing random timing. I honestly love that preset (I almost didn't enter it in the contest!). That I was able to create in on a totally free synth is a sign of the times.
BTW, try using the BP instead of the LP/HP for some heavier "rezzing". I preferred the lighter sound myself (more versatile too).
Thanks to Brian and Hakey for their generous legwork, and of course to Urs without whom literally none of this would have been possible.
