Organized the presets in Tyrel by style/type and not by author and upload it to share? I find it annoying looking through each user's library and would prefer to look for "Basses, Lead, FX" etc. Instead of JoeSchmoe - HyperBalls.

I think you should read any license agreements within those preset files or Tyrell.vaisnava wrote:Organized the presets in Tyrel by style/type and not by author and upload it to share? While it's certainly okay to do this for yourself.
I'm 99% certain it's not legal to distribute them in "any way", to others.
First check the Tyrell license agreements though.

Maybe you can ask to Urs or to the sound designers... if he says it's ok then the presets organized by types could be included in the official release (browse by author/browse by preset type if this is possible)

I like how Xils Lab do it, there you can choose between different ways to sort the presets.
Dunno if this is hard to implement, though.

You can do the same thing in Zebra and Tyrell, but this isn't about that.darsho wrote:I like how Xils Lab do it, there you can choose between different ways to sort the presets.

This is about distribution of others work.
