Hi ttoz,

A part of the CM review is available at Music Radar:
http://www.musicradar.com/gear/all/comp ... 292/review

CM gave an 8/10 to EAReverb:
"It does live up to its promise of delivering incredibly natural spaces."
"We've heard countless quality reverb plug-in, but EAReverb's natural sound and neat interface fully justify its existence."

About the "Cons":
- As mentionned in the review, CM was testing version 1.1.3 and they only heard audio demos of new XXXL and XTREM models (now available since version 1.1.4). But they liked them!

- EAReverb needs more presets (still have to work on it).

- "EAReverb isn't much use for bright, artificially splashy/sparkly reverbs, presumably due to its deliberately natural-sounding approach".
CM is totally right about it! I do not plan to change this. EAReverb is for "Earthy Algorithmic Reverb"... "Artificially Splashy Sparkly reverb" is not an easy name in its short form but KVR members will probably be the first to know if I work on such a thing someday ;-)

IMHO, it is a very positive and objective review. I totally agree with them.
Thanks again CM!

Just a reminder for those that don't use to check the Market Place: there is a group buy going on for this amazing, unique reverb. You can read the details in this thread:

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=317740

The price is currently 89€, 8 people left for 79€.

And now we are at 79€!. Remember that even if you join now you can still make your purchase next month.

If you haven't already tried the demo you must do it now.

Is it just me or it outputs really low sound levels? I crank the input and output dials to the max and still, I have to raise the send level in a Cubase track very much in order to get a really wet signal. For example I have to raise the send level to -6db when with other reverbs I get the same "wetness" at -12db.

It's a bit of a problem because sometimes I like to load different reverb plugins on the same FX track and check them one by one until I find the one that satisfies me the most. It's very time consuming if they don't output the same sound levels.

EAReverb 1.1.6 is available ;-)
Both demo and full versions have been updated.

Changes are:

NEW:
- Alternative authorization process.
It is now possible to authorize EAReverb by downloading a key file.
This key file will be available in your user account after some manual verification of your account details. Current EAReverb users can access this file right now (as far as their serial number is registered).
The challenge/response method is still available as a way to authorize EAReverb just after purchase.

- New tempo sync options.
1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1/1 (including "Dotted" and "Triplet" modes).

- 2 new preset categories.
"Positioning" presets have been thought to modify the perceived distance between source signal and listener.
"Movie Studio" presets have been designed using human, mechanical and natural sound effects as source material.

- 26 new presets added.

IMPROVEMENTS:
- Improved memory management.
- Improved "tempo sync" precision.
- Updated manuals.

All the best,
Philippe

What a fantastic little reverb this is! I couldn't resist the temptation so I purchased it. This must be some kind of record, I've purchased 3 different reverb plugins in less than 3 hours. A deadly serious case of G.A.S. :horror: :help:

Luckily they all are very different and each have their own place in the mix. I got the Sknote reverb bundle which contains a brilliant plate and spring reverb. EARverb will be my go-to "realistic" thing and AriesVerb will be my go-to general purpose reverb. Once I have enough money for the LX480 I'll be all set with reverbs.. that's the only one I dearly miss at the moment. :)

Cheers!

bmanic: Quickly, go try the new ValhallaRoom reverb, you might just make it 4 reverb plugins in 3 hours!
