Unbelievably, all the percussion is Zebra (presets). Howard Scarr rocks so I decided to name the track after him! :D
Really nice :) I like this kind of "epic" tracks :)

And you're right the percussions Zebra is capable of are amazing.
I posted an example of some of my Zebra percussion presets some days ago :)

Thanks!

Wow, Dennis- the percussion is awesome! Can I get those presets anywhere? Really cool stuff!
Thanks :)

I'm working on a Zebra percussion bank for quite some time now. It will be uploaded to the user library as sson as it is finished :)

In the meantime I suggest you to try xh3rvs awesome vanilla percussion bank:

Here is a little noise from me,

1 Patch (CPH JazzTrio) + 1 Patch doing kick, clap and hihat.

Its an idea i got when doing some presets for Clavia Nord Wave. Now i could not copy the patch 100% because the Nord has a very analog oscillator attack on waveforms BUT then i focused on what Zebra can do which Nord cannot.

The concept is, what happens if i combine 3 instruments (Guitar, Bass, Brass) into 1 single patch, is it playable ? yep if you think in velocity layers.

The soft layer = Clean Guitar
The medium layer = Guitar + Brass
The hard layer = Guitar + Brass + Bass (Bass limited to C1-D#2)

The sweet thing is, these 3 instruments are so common in combination, so its bound to be useful ;) K, so what you hear is 1 take of that patch and a overdub where i do a bit of solo like fills.

3 Small examples of that 1 patch played with varied velocity:

If you want to do something similar and looking for ideas, then load up 3 instances of Zebra, find 3 patches which sounds nice together, copy setting from each instance into 1 single patch, provided they use few modules and enjoy your new combi patch.

I use Zebra for nearly all synth sounds, (maybe some ACE for bass)
It's deep, garage type stuff

Finally I got around to composing a piece using Howard's Zebra Science. All sounds are from Zebra Science. Reverb is the only effect used. I hope you enjoy!

here is a new public track. it's a kind of teaser for my upcoming next solo release (which should be released before the end of august). it's a remix that a friend made for me, pretty much all of the basic melodic elements are zebra.
