Is there a way to invert a signal in Zebra?

I mean actually invert the polarity, not just put the waveform 180' out of phase... I thought the mix module might be able to do it by going into negative range, but apparently not...

There is! :-o

It's a bit of a weird one though. Use an XMF in "diffed" mode. Then turn offset all the way up so that only the negative filter is heard... it's in the end of this video:

(video is a sneak peak of what's to come...)

P.S.: I was thinking of making the ChannelMix modules more powerful though... inversion could be one of those things.

^ me too! :D .. been waiting for a while now.

Yeah... takes a while... complete relaunch of website, then all plugins updated, then launch of sounddesign site.

For a minute there, I honestly thought I'd found something Zebra *couldn't* do :hihi:

Pity I can't use XMF until I get a new computer and put this dinasour to pasture... I want to experiment with mixing a distorted wave with it's clean inversion, so the difference is heard. You can do some really cool stuff with inverted audio, like turn every LP filter into a HP, for instance :D

Wait a minute... at the end of that video, there's a scope! Where did that come from?

Best regards,

I'm pretty sure that's some video editing magic with Zebra + S(m)exoscope. The colors look about right:

Yep, Howie used S(m)exoscope a lot to make things clear in the tutorials.

Darn :(

Still hoping for an integrated scope (like Ace and Bazille). :hihi:

FWIW - I really like Signal Analyzer by rs-met.
