Hey Everybody,

I'm trying to load zebra2 presets into zebrify but every time i click on the preset it just begins to play the sound without me even pressing any keys on my midi keyboard. It just plays a note forever. It only stops if I mute the audio or mute components of the preset. Any help would be much appreciated. :) :) :)

Beginning, middle, and end of the problem. :) You need to load Zebrify presets into Zebrify.

somebody in one of my other posts said that you can load zebra presets into zebrify IIRC. Is that another version of zebrify?

I think somebody is wrong then. Zebra is the synth, Zebrify is the fx version, there is no crossover that I am aware of, and there doesn't need to be. :)

OSC and FMOS are sort of stuck 'on' when porting presets from Zebra to Zebrify. It's a little confusing until considering that, while Zebra creates voices when it gets MIDI input, Zebrify is like a single voice that's always on like e.g. an EQ or delay or a reverb. So OSCs and FMOs (also noise, maybe combs or something else I'm forgetting?) are essentially given an unending note when they're dropped into Zebrify.

To make these sound generating modules act like they do in Zebra, one should probably set the amp knobs to 0 and then modulate their volume parameter with parameters like the envelope tracking 'EnvFol1'.

I think loading Zebra presets into Zebrify can be useful as a starting point, a way to quickly get some scheme of modules on the grid - e.g. different combinations of filters, or just borrowing some FX ... but patches generally don't work exactly how they should without some tweaking. Ultimately an experimental sort of thing.

Next update (in a week or two) will have plenty of presets from Tasmodia :)

:dog: Now you've done it and tempted the Universe with a semi-firm release date...

Hahaha :)

It's really almost everything here... just some burps and bubbles... and maybe some minor bugfixes, we'll see...
