I think Sylenth1 is the best thing since sliced bread, I dunno why there arent any other soft-synths as good as that...
does anyone know if LennarDigital have any other products or upgrades of Sylenth1 on the horizon?

I think I've been using the latest beta of sylenth1 for at least 6 months or more now. And nothing new yet, AFAIK. Pretty disappointing. Was hoping for improved sound bank organization/access and preset search.

If Lennard was using his coding talents with another dev I think we would of found out about it by now.
He can't rely on his income from massive sales of Sylenth forever so I am sure he is working on something new.
Remember there are other things in life other than music , like marriage, children, holidays in the tax haven of Bermuda.
Don't sweat , he'll be back. He's too talented to leave it at that.

Not bashing Sylenth1 and it's BeTA process, kind of a convuluted copyright protection I am guessing so a permanent BETA.
What I have noticed is Sylenth in comparison with newer plugins, i.e DUNE, certainly sound to have more depth and sound. This is a shame as Sylenth is a very powerful and good sounding synth but is now starting to get lost in the pile of other equivalent or better plugins.
Saying that Sylenth is still in my rack but really we should be seeing something new or perhaps that it.
No more Sylenth development in which case I would expect more people to venture and invest their money in DUNE rather than Sylenth.
IMHO Sylenth is now where Vanguard was shortly after Sylenth was released (althought there where other issues with the developers regarding Vanguard).
No bashing here, just seeing it how it is.

Still worth buying as there's a huge collection of soundbanks out there for this baby, just starting to sound a little dated when measured up against what is now available.

Can't say I agree. Dune sounds close to Sylenth in some areas but overall does not have that analog "rubbery" goodness that has come to define Sylenth. I do want a better preset management system, a better step sequencer/arp and possibly a gui re-org in Sylenth. Tried many synth before. Buy and sell many of the synth i have before. But there's 1 synth that i will never let go from my collection, and it's sylenth. I'm not a great musician and sound designer but i love this synth. Too bad i'm convinced that there will never be any new product for sylenth.

I so wish for Lennar to come up with Sylenth 2. Just like Sylenth 1 with more modulation, waveforms, PWM, serial filtering, new skin, run it trough that assembly optimalization process and Dune can go to hell for a loooooong time. 
...seems to me, that sylenth started for Lennar as some very promising school project, and he moved on now, providing just basic support. I'd loooooove to be wrong here so much ... but who knows. Only other option is that he's preparing something EPIC ... but hard to believe in it after so long time.

While I really like Sylenth I tend to disagree here. I can only agree with what some said here: It's not a problem of things taking their time, it's about LennarDigital not even bothering to answer. With all due respect, this is not professional, not matter how much revenue it is generating or not. Customer support is essential, especially if you try to attract new buyers.
Until this changes, I won't buy Sylenth 1 (and others probably feel the same).

Well Lenard provides a support. He even manages that "tell me sound, I'll recreate it by Sylenth" thing... He is just not commenting any development. Which is killing us. :-/

As mentioned, I would accept a message like: "We are still working on Sylenth but cannot comment on future developments". But my personal experience and this of many others is, that there is plain silence. LennarDigital does not even bother to reply with a one liner.
Many people - like me - have to carefully consider which software to buy, because the past has show too many times that a new OS can break everything. So a pure "we are still alive" notice would make everything far easier - and (I dare to guess) could also increase sales.
