I also personally don't like the stars in the fetures list for zebra. I would use something smaller and less IN YOUR FACE. just my two cents.

Just registered, fun to see the new site.. Looks great, calm and collected..

Look forward to many more visits... Now I'm still saving for filterscape.. maybe a summer deal??

waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

The new site looks amazing.
Like it a lot.

One suggestion would be to get rid of the word "gearporn" for the new studio part.
That word may cause some auto blocking to occur.
Sometimes sites with the p word get blocked...eh possibly.
Something I only heard about really, but...good job on the site.

The ShareIt-field is the reference number with your sale. Could be of any product. It's needed whenever your current email is different from whatever you used when buying things. We'll make it more clear

I'd love to do a remember me thing, but I'm a bit suspicious. Will discuss witlh Clemens tomorrow. The user area is really just for times when you need support, hopefully never. We're working a lot on counter measures for support incidents. The main support incident is a lost license code (or a wrong link in a newsletter, that is)

The Captcha is ReCaptcha, which by now is the only Captcha known to have an audio captcha for visually impaired people that works :)

Sheesh... I love "gearporn" in that context... it would be a pity...

Gawd, you're anal

Pics are served from flickr. I uploaded some yesterday but haven't had time to edit names. Will do so asap, and that's why we test this site before taking he old one offline. This is still beta...

Re. the flash player in Uhbik... while the audio is heavily compressed, imagine it wasn't and you had to wait 15 minutes for the .wavs to download. It's all about compromise here, but we're trying to find examples that are still clear when quality is mp3. E.g. we can still show the barber pole phasing of the frequency shifter. All we need to do is get people to download the demos. Then they're sold. Simple as that ;-) (especially with the new presets in Uhbik- A when we add them... 10 presets that make all the difference...)

Hey Urs,

By any chance is one of those site updates going to be that Zebra set Nick Moritz and I did for you a while back? :hihi:

Liking the site, Urs. But that photo gallery...The 800DV... it's too new, can't be. Did you use some Voodoo to obtain it? :D

Your photo of the Minimoog has reminded me of one I did just recently:

Or gearpr0n, although that might be a bit too "leet" lol.

Regarding IE6, I believe it is only responsible for about 2-4% of internet traffic atm. As a web developer myself, I know certain hacks have to be made to ensure cross-browser compatibility, but it can be such a pain!

Anyway, the new website looks great so far. My only gripe is the use of the green and yellow stars. They don't seem to go well with the overall look of the site. Maybe you could use Zebra themed oscillator knobs for the green stars/list items.

Good luck getting everything straightened out! :D
