is is possible to reverse an audio file (played backwards) on Mu.Lab?

My first thought for this would be "sox". http://sox.sourceforge.net/

No, reversed playback of an audio part is not supported.
But you can reverse the audio file using another tool eg Audacity.
Or if the audio file is not too big, you can load it as a sample and then reversed playback is supported. To load it as a sample: main FILE menu -> Add A Sample, or plug in a Sampla and drag-drop the file on the sample display.
