I love to work with 3/16th (1/8d) delays in my work.

MuLabs own delays work all with 24th divisions (because why??? I don't know)

so a 3/16th delay would be mathematically a 4.5/24th delay...right???

But that's not adjustable, so what should I do???

Use another delay??

You could use ms, and time the delay according to your BPM. I forget the equation, but this thread seems to have all the information you need.

Here's the table the other forum mentions:

No, because as the OP said:

There's no facility to delay based on time; it only offers beat divisions.

Where are the tempo-sync'd delays in MuLab? I can only see time-based ones. Oh, you mean the echo units, I see! Yes, having them in 960ths would be nice. (Is that the MIDI beat granularity? I forget...)

I might be wrong (in the office and can't check), but the 24 resolution is per Quarter note.
So 3/16th is 3 *((24*4)/16)= 18. Set this in the MuLab Delay and you should get what you need.

@Jo:
Seems, that should be mentioned in the docs...

Whoops! Turns out I didn't pay enough attention to the delays whilst I was using them. :P

Yes you're right that the docs are not 'complete'.
Atoh maintaining each and every detail of MuLab in the docs means a huge work, time that cannot be invested in R&D.

I think the docs should mention everything which is really vital and necessary to know and which cannot be easily found by just using MuLab.

In this case, a little bit of delay testing should have given the answer.
(which i do not mean as criticism or offence!) Also thanks to the forum people for communicating on this, good vibes.

Please don't forget that many/most musicians don't like manuals, they just want to try it out ;)

I will maintain the docs as much as necessary, but will also shift focus from the docs to YouTube tutorials, especially when M4 is out.

Wrt M4: Soon i'll give an update on the progress.

Sorry Jo, but for that, an unknown 24th resolution per quarter (for me it was unknown and when I look at a parameter, which has a value of i.e. 18/24th, I would never guess, that it's 24th of a quarter)is a little bit too exotic for doing trial and error (which I don't take as critism)...

Perhaps, you should do the same like Fritz, the developer of Zynewave...
The Podium Wiki is "open source", where users can support the developer in such time consuming tasks like doing a manual and as I noticed here, there a some very experienced users, which could lift some secrets of MuLab...
