Not Learning ACE

I really wanna learn how ACE works properly but it just seems so daunting. What I need is some long, in depth tutorial videos that start from scratch and go though it all. Preferably free ones as I am skint.
It seems a shame there isnt one as for most other synths you can find free ones or cheap ones, but for ACE there is just the 10 minute one which is a start but cant compare to some of the others which run into hours, eg nicks tutorials for Operator and Analog, or the free series on massive.
Anyone up to this task?

Howard will do some. Once we're finished with all updates and everything, we'll start pumping out tutorials (Zebra first, but then also ACE, MFM and the other plugs)
It's a really long process that we're going through with the website, new office, new manpower, massive maintenance updates and finally a webzine specifically for sounddesign at http://www.patchbender.com
We'll be there in a few weeks!

Cant wait! This is the one thing missing in my life. I have zero finances, so I cant buy any more stuff, but in a way it's good as I will be able to focus more on what I have.
I have just changed the skin to the white one, cracked open the manual, and saved the wiring diagram as my desktop background. But now I need a rest!
Anyway, will try to at least work my way through it methodically and see where I get. Meantime I will keep mithering!

Ok, I am making some serious effort now. I have the basic diagram set as my desktop, and have sussed out how to use keyboard shortcuts to quickly go from ACE in Ableton Live to the manual and the diagram. Have made some good sounds from scratch, which I sort of have an idea how I made them! I guess it's like swimming, you have to dive in the pool to get started. Before, I just had my toes wet.

cool list! Once I get my head around the routing and so on will have a look at those tutorials. I think I am making headway, bit at a time.
Howard (or anyone), whats the difference between hardwired and default?

Hardwired is fixed, immutable - permanently connected. Default is a preselected option that you may change.
