It is important to understand that we are no longer talking about synthesizers or workstations - we are talking about software which needs a host computer and a host OS. Both develop must faster than anyone would have ever expected - and compatibility is often sacrificed more quickly than we think. Sylenth is (sadly) not a machine, which you can switch on and connect it's midi / audio-out to your box.
