Cool. Glad I could help..indirectly at least. :)
Man, I'm bummed. It's very crashy and unpredictable on my Win7 machine. :(

Simple music philosophy - Those who can, make music. Those who can't, make excuses.

First of all: Be sure to have iTunes installed because iPhone explorer make use of it (but you do not need to start iTunes).

Further:
At the homepage they write it is compatible with win 7 but iPhone explorer seems a little buggy in general. On win xp, I have to restart it almost every time I want to go into another app directory. Thus, I can for instance go to nanostudio and manipulate all its sub directories, but when going out again to enter, say, Beatmaker, I have to restart iPhone explorer.
If I want to copy a large directory, I first have to transfer it to my laptop (happens fast), then restart iPhone explorer, go into another app and paste it there(happens just as fast).

Cheers

you could (also) try
http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid
but it's not free.

also pay attention - if the iOS device is not jailbreaked,
the file transfer will restart after 4 app dirs or so.
thats a limitation from Apple !

DiskAid might help but I have some problems with it. Nanostudio does not show up as a dir and I can not enter some sub dirs of certains apps such as Electrify's sample directories.

Hmm...about the restart thing, it seems to be the same kind of limitation with iPhone explorer, in that case it is not a bug in iPhone explorer as I thought it was.
