Hey guys (ahem, *bump*) I'm still working on my track up until the 1st July so don't download just yet. I've gutted it and I'm rebuilding it. I always upload my draft to see if I can get some constructive comments and then I use the length as a kind of target for the new track. Although I haven't had MANY!!! It's also a way to make sure I actually have an entry before the deady. I can uplpad an mp3 of the existing version if you want, but it will be different for the final. Is that all " in keeping with the reg's"?

EDIT: I'm going to assume we're all going to comment on each other's songs (using the SoundCloud comment area) during judging, yeah? I know that I for one thrive on constructive feedback, so you're free to have a go at my track/s here. I'm not really interested in winning. I'm just trying to learn and some of you guys are obviously pros. I'd love comments, but can wait patiently... ;)

Yes it's the entry that's there after deadline that will count, but of course u run the risk of people downloading now and not realizing or forgetting the new one and then judging on that.

But uploading is anyway I find a very good test for yourself as the minute I listen to my track online, things come out that I didn't hear before and sometimes the whole track is different so why not use the upload to check urself.

Not exactly, the comments in the Soundcloud webpage are just a matter of freedom. You can do it if you want i mean. But nothing in common with the KVROSC.
I will explain a bit how goes all this:
  • A new post is created, called Vote for Synth, where we vote for a synth from day 18th-20th until to the last day of that X month. Aproximately.
There will be 10 synths to vote. Or a mandatory one :hihi:
The synth more voted in those 10-12 days will be the winner for that next, let's call it, Y month.
We close the votes for the synths. (The post keeps opened)
  • A new post is created, called KVROSC numberXX: Winner Synth So the post of gossip and participants is opened to new entries of that winner synth, you have that whole Y month to inscribe yourself with your track or tracks.
When we reach the end of that Y month, and the deadline day has passed, we close the entries in that post. (The post keeps opened)
  • A new post is created, called KVROSC numberXX: Voting and results where people goes to vote and comment for the submitted tracks, from day 1st to day 15th of Z month, and the winners will be selected by votes. In this same post you will know who are the final winners. The votes are closed. (The post keeps opened)
And again, a new post is created, called "Vote for Synth", aproximately between day 18th to 20th until the end of that month, etc...
The loop of the life. :hihi:

So the free comments in SoundCloud goes totally appart.
I hope you could understand it.

Have a good day. :)
