Once again, read those first paragraphs :hihi:

You can vote and choose only in that selection of those 10 specified synths.
Anyway, the votes are already closed, and your vote wouldn't make any difference due the winner synth has 7 points over the second one.

Welcome, by the way. :)

Have a good day.

I would have to figure out how to get it to work again (something like using channel 16)
Yes the speech synth will be allowed, and I think using ch 16 is the trick although i didn't get it to work when i tried.
I succeded on make the speech synth to "speak", using the multitimbral version, by assigning ch 16 as default midi in, and shutting off the current patch (osc1, 2 and 3 to off) but it pronounces only the consonants!
A trick to make it speak properly could be to assign a patch to the ch 16. To do this, I tried to click, double-click, triple click, right-click, shift-click, [what you want]-click (!) the patch labels on the top multitimbral panel, but with no result.

Any ideas? Did anyone of you get it to work?

It works in LMMS but unfortunately it's a bit unstable.
I also tried it in FL Studio 10 but didn't get it to work right now.
Is there another way to set it to channel 16 than in the settings menu?

Maybe an idea to continue discussion in the V2 gossip thread as it's sticky and more people see it: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=322506

In FL Studio

Load the synth (but careful, when you save the song and going to exit the program or change a project, FL gets frozen) and load a 'Midi out' generator.
Link the 'Midi Out' in channel 16, port 16, do the same with the synth, go to options and use Midi out and Midi In in number 16. Also in the last tab of those options, set it in 16 channels (instead 0 by default)

Now you can play uncomprehensible words lol

The speech synth thingie is a bit over-valued, believe me, difficult to set, and also, it can't make any phrase with sense.
In this case i prefer bazillion times before the awesome Aquestone.

So i will pass about it this time.

Have a good day :)
