You'll definitely need to access your account at IK to download your product....you may need to contact customer service if you're unable to. What probs are you having when logging in?

Be a little patient with the email...(you'll get your authorizations in the email).

I don't have any of the T-Racks Singles but I'm interested in getting this Shell deal. Do I need to already own the T-Racks Singles to use this Shell products or can these be used without? Are there any limitations with these plugs?
Thanks,
SW
Nope, this can be your first T-Racks singles purchase to get the shell. :)

AudioMIDI has a Vintage 670 No-Brainer Deal... T-Racks 3 Vintage 670 for $20!

So for a VERY short period of time you can pick up the T-RackS Shell - pre-loaded with the Classic EQ and the Metering Suite - and the Vintage 670, for a combined total of just $35!

So if you're looking for a T-Racks Single to add to the shell, I think this one might be it.

I'm baffled about this shell.
I would pay 15 dollars for an EQ and metering options?
Then what? Can I load anything into this chain?
Or do I have to purchase only T Racks products at 100 dollars a pop to load into this? (Brian, I realize you just posted a limited time special at Audio Midi, but T Racks singles do go for 100 dollars).

Yes, you pay $15 for an EQ and the metering options. If you want to buy more T-Racks plugins, then they can be added to the shell as you purchase them. If you don't, you got an EQ and a metering plugin for $15. However, if you haven't checked out the Fairchild, Pultec, Opto Comp, LA2A, and 1176 plugins that IK put out, you owe it to yourself to do just that.

Thanks. So I don't need the shell to use all those compressors and other T Rack Singles?

No, you can use the other T-Racks singles on their own without the shell. The shell just allows you to chain all your singles together in a single plugin if you so desire.

Buy the most recent German Issue of BEAT Magazin (issue #69, July/August 2011) and you'll find T-Racks 3 Shell on it as well. For only 5,90 Euro(!), no VAT extra.
Do you also get the singles of the eq and metering suite with "beat issue #69"?

If I chain all those comps you mentioned, it's gonna sound pretty squashed...:)
Thanks for the clarifications evil twin. Think I'll pass on the shell.

Thanks for the endorsement, Funkybot.
And with AudioMIDI selling the Vintage 670 in a No-Brainer Deal for $20, you just can't pass it up!

If I didn't already own the 670 I'd definitely get in on it. It's one helluva emulation from what a lot of people have been saying. All I know is it sounds good on bass, certain electric guitars and vocals with Time Constant 1 and about 6dB of GR.

And of course it's a great buss compressor if you want some vintage goodness as opposed to an SSL buss plugin (or insert clean "glue plugin" here). Drums and the whole mix.

I'm really surprised there's no buzz here about the 670 for $20. No matter how many compressors you own already, none of them are quite like the 670. And for twenty bucks, well, if there ever was a true "no brainer" this is it.

Brian, isn't there already a thread about the nobrainer deal in the marketplace? Traditionally most nobrainer deals get discussed there, if you dont think it's getting enough coverage link to it...

edit...seems there is plenty of interest there :)

Post

Brian, will we ever be able to load CSR reverbs into the shell? :)

I'll vouch for this deal..........the metering suite is worth the price alone.......... :tu:

Very true! The 670 sounds great on soooo many things! From acoustics, vocals all the way to buss or even on bass! It always sounds killer!
