Sylenth sounds better at higher sampling rates

I have noticed that Sylenth sounds better (like more bright) the higher the sampling rate is. I've used all the way from 44.1 to 96k and can definitely notice an improvement the higher it gets. Only problem is my CPU usage for my Ableton Live sets (on Mac btw) is now huge.
I can't be the only one who's noticed this?

Almost every synth will sound better at higher sampling rates 
What basically happens is that the nyquist frequency gets higher, which causes less aliasing.
Every VST can only produce sound up to the sample rate/2 (nyquist frequency). Every content above that will get "wrapped back" (that's not always true since some developers put some huge amount of work into improvements in this area).
That's excatly what oversampling does btw.
2x oversampling does nothing different than doubling the sample rate for that particular VST.

Well i can't hear that high above 20k, but there is definitely an audible difference going from 44.1k (22.05k theoretical high limit) to 96k(48k high limit!).

Bronto meant to say that content get "wrapped back" in to audible area not above 20khz. I spent half of day today working on mastering, rendering quality and sample rate. certainly running Sylenth on higher sample rates changes the character of sound a lot, but it's actually negative - it sounds too clean!
One important thing related to sample rate is delay. Especially on filters, which introduce constant delay of few samples. Long, oscillating impulse response of filters may cause ringing and introduce distortion when it never should be. Tracking back some artifacts I found out that higher sample rate can remove ringing / clicking from kick and bass.
Luckily Ableton gives possibility to manually oversample each of plugins. Will investigate it now and report back the results.

Apparently not every, that would be too good :/. Just some of built-in effects. You can r-click on their title bar and choose "oversampling".
I did that for EQ and Glue compressor. Still, sound is cleaner now, but can't listen to most of full track in real time because of high CPU load.
