Thanks - we fixed it already! Wasn't really that much of a bug, I used a system function that's abandoned by Apple and thus does not work reliably. Switched to something else and hope for the best.
New builds should be out soon.

Wellll...MFXxx wrote:Minor point on the latest install for zebra. Both x32 & x64 dll's get installed in to the same folder, no override option. So had to manually relocate x64 dlls.
The standard configurations are "32-bit plugins" and "64-bit plugins", so it's either or. But as people asked for an option to do both with or without presets, you can customise the install. Normally you would run the installer twice, or move one manually.
(The installer is such a complex piece of code now, I could not be bothered to add a second install location. I might add a note to the installation manual once I get to that)

Urs,
I haven't read the entire thread so this may be old news, but the beta for Zebra x64 that I have puts out debugging strings related to clipping rectangles and such. They only show up in the ouptut window of the debugger when I have a debugger (MS Visual C++ express 2010) attached to the DAW where Zerba is running so it's not an operational concern or anything. Just thought I should mention it in case you wanted to remove the bit of overhead for the non-essential calls in the production version. I'm not at my DAW right now but I can send example output later if you'd like to see what I am referring to.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the version I have is a few months old so this may or may not be applicable to the latest version. I'll have to download tonight and give it a retry.

Sorry, our heads were fried from the hanging notes bug. We managed to get it down to very rare occasions, and switching mode/voices will solve it again. Otherwise we need a rewrite of the midi handling, which would delay it too much. The hanging notes only happen when pressing/lifting keys while switching presets. No problems if a few keys remain pressed. This is the better alternative to volume spikes.
Nevertheless, we have decided to postpone release till Monday and try to get another version for sanity check out by the weekend.
And of course, yes, Howie's patches have become seriously mindblowing - love the Farmbots

I can't see new presets here too. I've moved presets from root folder to another one earlier. And while installing latest beta I'm sure I enabled "install presets" checkbox. Now the root folder is empty and I can't find Farmbots preset anywhere. Maybe it's somehow related to symbolic links that I use to manage my presets... I will check and try to reinstall and will post back
