Just to make it clear: the current installer in post #1 does NOT contain the new presets, right?

It 100% does contain them, both Mac and VST.paterpeter wrote:Just to make it clear: the current installer in post #1 does NOT contain the new presets, right?

Hm, now I feel stupid. Could you give me the name of one of those files?

my guess.Urs wrote:That said, does anybody have an idea as to why some people can't see them?
if it is on the PC....for whatever reason the shortcut zebra.data in their vsti folder is pointing to the wrong or old zebra2.dat (that is the one in the program x86 folder...and they choose a new location as recommended.....
if it is on the mac. I have no clue as I installs in the same location as it previously did.

Using the Win32 installer I don't see the new patches.
I selected the option to:
"keep previous installation and copy files into new destination (recommended)"
What happens if I instead select:
"move files into new destination"

EDIT: Tried that - still no new patches.

Not in my case I think, it clearly points to the correct location.zvenx wrote: my guess.

I installed the data into a new directory, but the factory content is 100% identical (I use git to track preset changes, so I'm 100% sure).
I'll try to remove everything first and see what it does. BTW, during installation I was not asked what to with the existing data (I did get asked when installing the new ACE version, though).

Here's the list of all files installed into the data folder:
http://www64.zippyshare.com/v/94611644/file.html
I extracted the installer manually and I couldn't find any additional files there, either. It contains the same presets as the 2.5 installer downloadable from the homepage.

Also those with the extra presets problems is it the vst version you are installing?

Ah! I used the installer from page 1 of the thread. The installer in Urs' post at the bottom of page 23 has the new patches!zvenx wrote:hmmmm and you did use the link provided a few pages before and not the website ?

btw - is HS Gargoyle a new patch? Only I recently made a similar patch in Tyrell, which I named Gurgoyle.

Haha, no, pretty sure that's not the case. There really is only one and so far as sound design goes he's completely in a class of his own, as these new patches show!zvenx wrote:or maybe you really are Howard Scarr
