Stop the text from stretching upon Re-sizing?

Seems like whenever I adjust the width of my plugins the text also distorts... is there a way to either control the text size separately or to maintain its size ratio.
It is actually kind of hard to read text that has been stretched as my eyes are not used to it and I find i have to slow down to read it.
Please let me know.
Thanks!

You mean when you change the size in style configuration? But the text should be just fine when you change both width and height, or not?

The text labels are not too clear here either.
I've tried several GUI sizes but none so far are clear. have a look at these screenshots - for the default size, the 120% vertically or horizontally, or both.

100h x 100w:
-- Input gain is different from Output gain
-- the first Dry/wet is different from the second
100h x 120w:
-- as above, and
-- some of the letter t (e.g. in Output gain) have turned into figure 1
-- the spacing between letters is odd, compare Output gain or Strumming with the label in the 100h x 100w
-- the height was actually reduced slightly too

Aaaaha, but that's actually correct. The input gain & output gain - one of them is bold like "more important". It doesn't look exactly great, that's caused by the font, which is not ideal, but I needed a font, which is not trademarked and small in file size, because it is distributed within the styles. This one looked the best so far.

Well for example, I like the EQ to be at 200% width horizontally so it is more like FabFilter Q with a long Freq Display compared to a small squished Square.
But the text is all stretched out horizontally. Like 0 looks like O, but for all the letters. Really ugly and hard to focus on.
Can you make something so we can adjust the Text size separately? As to keep it proportionate?
Thanks

I'm afraid this probably won't be possible. Do you know you can just drag the bottom right corner to change the size?vaisnava wrote: Can you make something so we can adjust the Text size separately? As to keep it proportionate?

The dragging works so much nicer, but it does not keep that shape... when i load a new instance it is square again

Yeah, that's true, but you can always drag it againvaisnava wrote:The dragging works so much nicer, but it does not keep that shape... when i load a new instance it is square again

Dangerously awesome...
Its not that one click and drag is bad, but having to do it for each and every instance multiple times every time you work on a project would be annoying.
Fact is, it is not unusable as is... so I will stop my pestering, but it would make it seem all that much more professional and nice.
At least if the text would stay proportionate.
FabFilter has a nifty "expand/shrink" option for a lot of their plugins to make em wider. Just for all of us Wide Screen users I believe.
Maybe instead of the click/dragger?
Plus maybe it is just me, but I like a "wide screen" EQ because it seems more fluid in finding the Freq you want horizontally. Vertical is not quite as important cause you can set the dB measurement value (ex. +/- 24dB,48dB) and such.
My ideal size of 200% wide by 80% high, seriously just looks horrible.
Honestly, thank you for taking the time to answer though.
