i have a problem in sonar x1, 64 bit, win vista 64. if i use dictator settings, after pressing stop on the transport, some effects (the green effects) play on infinitely.
how can i turn that off?
maybe it is related to this problem: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?high= ... =1#2341961
ps: In Sonar I have ticked the 'zero controllers when playback stops' option, also the 'play effect tails after stopping playback' option.

note that the effects are active as long as the main knobs are turned on.
You have to turn off the knobs (or the dictator).
There is also a hidden feature to turn off the knobs when the sequencer stops.
To activate it click into the 'O' from the Off label in the setting screen.
(no warranty Wink)

thanks for clearing that up.
checked the o
now after pressing stop the dictator setting gets a reset, so i can not freeze the effect in the desired position after pressing stop, right?!

No. Especially the looper effects need a clear point when they should start (capture input and processing it). You should use automation or midi to control the dictator/effect knobs and actiavte them at the wanted position in your songcyphersuit wrote: now after pressing stop the dictator setting gets a reset, so i can not freeze the effect in the desired position after pressing stop, right?!
