Ok so I bought this today and I am going thru the manual as you do. I am having a bit of trouble with the LFO modulation. The manual talks about the 3 LFOs as if they are the same barring the delay, but in practise they are a bit different. The restart section is different from global to 1 and 2, and there's no "free" option on 1 and 2 as displayed in the manual.

I made a simple patch with OSC 1 F Modulating a saw wave on OSC 2 and used the global LFO to create a slow 4 bar sweep of the FM, OSC2 phase and the LP filter, this worked fine. However if I try to do the same thing using LFO 1 I am unable to do it as the restart options make the LFO jump about, there's no way to do a long slow sweep I can find.

Ok so just use the global filter, but I was hoping to assign slow lfo sweeps of different rates to different parameters.

1. Is there a way to do this with LFOs 1 and 2 that I am just missing ?

2. Is my copy bugged because it doesn't show the "free" restart option for LFOs 1 and 2 as per the picture in the manual ?

This aside, I am loving the sounds I am getting from this after just a days twiddling and learning :D

Hi, sorry for the late reply, we're currently working on a big release. My brain is pretty fried atm...

LFOG is global and thus doesn't restart with notes. It does sync to host, e.g. by restarting every other bar.

LFOs 1 and 2 are per voice and thus offer some extra features. Free running here means that they start with a bit of a random phase on each note, just like they would in an analogue synth.

Hmmm... which version do you have? (the number is displayed on a new instance) - I think we already linked the latest beta from the new website, but we'll release the final version in a few days...

Hey, thanks for the reply, I'd say that was pretty quick actually.

My version is 1.3b7, I actually just registered the demo, once I bought the serial, is that ok or do I need to d/l some other ver. ? Anyway here is screenshot of what I am talking about

as you can see there's no "free" option as shown on p38 of manual. I'm gonna dig in some more tonight, trying to get to grips with the most exciting part, the morphable eqs.

Ok had another look at the LFOs in VA and singled out my issue.

When using LFO1 to perform a 2 bar sweep of the cutoff on a long continous note I get a smooth result, however when I apply the same 2 bar sweep settings to 2 bars of 1/8th notes, the cutoff still "generally" sweeps up and down at the same rate but now there added little jumps in time with each note as tho am env had been placed on the cutoff as well (it hadn't). This is in sync mode BTW.

It does seem a little strange.

Will deal with it shortly - we're releaseing a few soundbanks and a little Zebra update today, and then we'll start preparing the release and final beta of Filterscape.

I think I remember that we had a little bug in the LFO triggers, which I fixed recently. This might not yet be in the version you have.

If it's a vital issue for you, I can try to post a fresh build tonight... :)

EDIT, I just bought Zebra2 as well now, so I will be playing with that for a few days, no rush on the filterscape build, I can wait a few days Urs, don't want to cause you anymore stress than you already have
