I can create the start turntable effect in Artillery2 but I can't do it in Turnado. Here is an example of the start turntable effect.

I would use the PanLooper's pitch parameter.
Turn it from -100% to 0 with an envelope or with the
effect knob itself while you let the dry/wet control jump to zero when the
knob is full up.
I got a good effect also with the granulizer.
Assign the effect knob so that it:
-turns the amount from 100% to 0%
-turns the pitch from -100% to 0
-turns the dry/wet knob from 100% to 0.
best

I'm demoing Turnado so I don't know how to set up envelopes. How about a preset? Will presets work in Demo mode. Also, why is there no support for MIDI notes triggering the presets like Artillery. Drawing CCs in REAPER is more complicated because I have to draw another CC bar to turn off the effect.
I don't plan to use it live. I just want to trigger effects in my music. I'm trying to decide between Artillery and Turnado. I prefer Turnado's GUI and effects but Artillery has the most important thing to me MIDI note triggers effect.

After reading this post, I see that you can trigger effects with MIDI notes.
I tried using Granulizer and PanLooper but couldn't get the same effect. It made me realize how powerful Turnado is though. Either way, it seems like I would always need to draw in automation to get that effect and I just want to use MIDI notes. I would love a preset though.
BTW, you guys should consider creating non-scripted/non-professional tutorials. For example, the video below does a much better job of explaining Turnado than your fancy videos because it's not rushed:

You can trigger the 8 main knobs via MIDI notes.
Just learn them.
Please download this preset for the vinylizer.
http://www.sugar-bytes.de/tmp/StartUp.sbt
and put it into:
\Documents\Sugar Bytes\Turnado\Effect Presets\Vinylizer\
This makes a turntable start effect.
The speed is controlled by the LFO1 rate.
Best,
Robert[/code]

Thanks Robert. The preset is perfect. I also just learned the knobs so I'm triggering away. Turnado is a beast!Sugar Bytes wrote:You can trigger the 8 main knobs via MIDI notes.
