Will this mean that the Ctrl-Alt-Win click for windows is around the corner?
Nope, but it works on Mac now.

Also, I think I'm finally tackling the mysteriosity of the Compare button. So when ACE 1.1 gets released on Monday it might be the first u-he release for RTAS Mac that supports all specific features I know about.

Dunno when RTAS Win will happen and what it takes to support the three finger salute there...

Next check is up for grabs:

Mac: http://www.u-he.com/downloads/ACE/ACE11MacInstall.zip
PC: http://www.u-he.com/downloads/ACE/ACE11Winstaller.zip

This is a few days old, except I've reworked large parts of the RTAS Mac support:

- PT is made aware that changing a parameter or switching a preset means a change in settings
- Compare functionailty waaaay improved
- preset name is retrieved correctly from stored project files

Win version will be repackaged with final HS add-on presets tomorrow. Release will be tomorrow night or Monday morning!

Cheers,

;) Urs

Hi Urs,
64bit Zebra 2.5.1 LFO pitch drift issue:

Installed Z.2.5.1 couple of days ago on Win7
The problem seems to appear only after I start DAW playback, even after stopping playback I must reload or reset Zebra's wrapper to get rid of the LFO pitch instability.
I tried different wrapper setting combinations in order to get it working properly but with no success.

Before playback:

After playback:

Sorry if this is a known issue.. I don't have time to go through the entire thread.

I only get those messages if the user does not have write permissions on the respective folder. Have you checked the security tab for the folder?

That's certainly an accidental Midi Learn. Open Zebra2.data/Support/com.u-he.Zebra2.midimap.txt and either post it here, or simply delete the file if you don't use MIDI Controllers for knobs.

:)

Weird one! It's a permissions problem, but the documents folder should be writable for you... hmmm...

I've also tried to delete it.. but the file keeps reapearing after I close FL
Anyway.. the LFO drift is still there

Ok... please do this:

- open project
- before starting playback, save the preset as "lfo before"
- start playback
- save preset as "lfo after"
- send thsoe two presets to usr@u-he.com

Question: Do you have a Zebra2.data directory *and* a symbolic link?

Yo 3ee,

I'm still a bit baffled as to what exactly is happening.

I'm going to finally put that harddrive with fresh Win7 in my desktop tomorrow and start a little hunt.

Hope to find it soon!

Cheers,

;) Urs

Hi Urs,

Installed the latest version of Ableton Live Lite 8.2.2 that came in 32bits only (No x64 atm).

It didn't want to scan my 64bit plugin folder so I installed the 32bit Zebra 2.5.1

Can confirm that the LFO pitch drift happens in Ableton as well but directly without the need to start/stop the daw playback.

Tryed the 32bit version of Zebra 2.5.1 in FL Studio 10.0.5 and it features the bug as well and without the need to start/stop the playback.

I don't hear a "pitch drift" in the After DAW clip! I hear slew, as if the new LFO slew mode had been switched to "slow". Are my ears fooling me?
