Evening!

I think I'm getting back into the loop after a longish break. I was noticing that MU.LAB 3.25 doesn't remember my MIDI setup so I have to point it to my keyboard at each start up.

Downloaded the latest version (3.214, April 9 2011) and the issue seems to persist.

Can anyone confirm that?

Does MULAB have write access to the settings file with the MIDI setup details in? (Sorry to be a bit vague...)

I just about bet it has. I changed the vst.xml only last night. Will look for a file where it says "MIDI"-something...

Hmmm! "MidiSetup.Txt" says "InputPort1=Oxygen 61 - Oxygen 61" just like it should.

BTW, the MIDI setup panel within MU.LAB (with all the rounded boxes) says everything's fine too.

Maybe it is getting MIDI but just doesn't turn it into sound until you click OK in the MIDI setup. [/layman speak]

I got one similar report and so it might be a (system dependent) bug.
I'll research this in detail soon. Thanks for reporting!

Hi folks. Just for info I should let you know MULAB 3.214 works well for me.

My setup is very simple: UM-1 MIDI interface and Casio CZ-1 synth for keyboard. The interface shows up in the MIDI Setup window every time.
