Yes, create 2 instances, one after another, one set to mono, the other to stereoTrancit wrote:I think there is a way, but how does it work???
Is there a proper way to process (mainly interested in Compression) Mid and Side channels independently???

Ah, ok that's the difference between "Left+Right" and "stereo"...
It's a little bit confusing, perhaps you should change the information text in the settings tab from:
"Processes stereo content"
to
"Processes side information (of a stereo signal)"
and for the Mono setting from:
"Processes Mono content"
to
"Processes Mono content or Mid information (of a stereo signal)"
(I guess, it's not only for Mid information but for pure mono too)
I think, it would be a little bit clearer...your text is correct but not exact...it's easy to misunderstand
The brackets in my suggestion shall mean, that's up to you, if you want to put this additional information in there or not...
If you think it's enough without, than leave it out, if you think it's better to have it in there (like I), leave the backets out...
Do you see any way in future releases, to make independent Mid/side processing possible in one plugin (it's done very well in Fabfilters Pro-C)???

Ok, I'll add it to to-do list, we'll see.
With mid/side in a single plugin - no I'm afraid. I have already checked and discussed several times and it was too complicated. Our plugins are just too advanced for that. It wouldn't be so hard to do it specially in MEqualizer for example, but to be honest there are many more important and interesting tasks.
There will be a video tutorial about this though, so that new users know how to do that.

OK I stumbled across this and this explains alot when I experiment with your (great!) plugins.
I agree with Trancit, it should be renamed. I guess everyone knows what Mid/Side means in a channel context.
BTW I know I made the right choice with your plugins because someone actually reads and respond to messages!
