Dont't forget the Wavetableimport for Zebra2Urs wrote:We have a phantastic idea for a sampler worked out in extraordinary detail.
If someone was to fund two developers for it, we could start working on it tomorrow, and we'd share the revenues.
I'm actually seriously considering to accept venture capital for this, but as it stands now I won't have time to devote for this myself, nor has Clemens.
If anyone has, say, an idle million or two... ping me.

Sounds potentially very interesting. I'd imagine that rather than a platform for more orchestral string libraries and such, Urs would be apt to create something more oriented towards doing more creative sample-based sound design, with unusual sample-modifying tools on board that differed from what one usually finds in softsamplers.
DIVA is mainly what I'm looking forward to right now but a u-he sampler definitely interests me. Since I've already done a fair amount of crazy things in a state of undress in my life, I guess I'd just express my approval in a more conservative way than the OP, LMAO.

Me too! Hence no time for sampling...Vectorman wrote:DIVA is mainly what I'm looking forward to right now

And modulation lag generators and 2 more modmappers and the ability to zoom in on spectro* wave modes??Urs wrote:Me too! Hence no time for sampling...Vectorman wrote:DIVA is mainly what I'm looking forward to right now

A guy can dream I suppose...

Not sure yet about the zoom, but 2 more Modmappers and something that adds Lag Generators to the Modulation section is definately coming. There's actually a whole new type of Modulator coming.bmrzycki wrote:And modulation lag generators and 2 more modmappers and the ability to zoom in on spectro* wave modes??Urs wrote:Me too! Yay! Things like these are why Zebra is hands-down my favorite noisemaking-thinggy(*)!Urs wrote:Not sure yet about the zoom, but 2 more Modmappers and something that adds Lag Generators to the Modulation section is definately coming. So say I could find the spare million, could I get an NFR?

For sure! - But I doubt that a million alone would cut it. Two developers over 3 or 4 years with two workspaces, plus advertisement and everything is simply moreMushy Mushy wrote:So say I could find the spare million, could I get an NFR?

I was referring to something more like the modmapper [+] pop-up window with the partials as bars to really dial in that waveform/spectral map. I hope you didn't confuse it to mean something like the MSEG zoom feature...Urs wrote:Not sure yet about the (spectro *) zoom
I've actually toyed with making a javascript app to make waveforms that let you edit the partials. Maybe I'll polish it up and slap it on some website...

Oh wow! That is amazing. I didnt realise the outlay was so much.Urs wrote:For sure! - But I doubt that a million alone would cut it. How has it worked previously? Surely you havent outlaid that much for your previous projects. I'm starting to think the music software business isnt all that viable.
