Need help for building 6/8 and 3/8 jazz walz rhytm in Mdrummer 4

Hi, does anyone have hints and/or libraries for jazz waltz in Mdrummer 4?

1. I really lack some basic rhythms for generation of 3-beat rhytms sets. Coould you advice?

2. Is there any support in Mdrummer 4 for drum rolls? Or does aonyone know a work-around for making them?

Hi Mikael,

I will probably need you to describe what you need more accurately. Basically with rhythm generator you can use any signature, MDrummer will convert the base rhythms. There are not many 3/4 rhythms at the moment, but it is really easy to create them this way.

Drum rolls are not available at the moment and to be perfectly honest it's not really planned (though I suppose it wouldn't be such a problem, who knows). It you need the typical accented roll, you can just create 2 notes right? The note parameters used by MDrummer have very advanced timing options, so it shouldn't be a big problem creating a nice roll, which will fit your song (as opposed to predefine roll, which just may not be exactly the right thing).
