Flash player for 64 bit? Oh..it does exist...
This is what I get when trying to rightclick a link on NI's website (FF5.0, latest flash)kmonkey wrote:dude what ancient computer you have? What kind of alienated browser you use? I've never saw anything like it. I can open 50 flash websites and each have it's own tab. I can absolutely "open link in new tab" with flash website. Since i do this for living i can tell you immediately that if this is unsupported then it's developer (person who did website) flaw not Flash flaw. It is simple window state. Open in "_blank" and that's it. Almost same as in HTML language. Excuse me of course if i don't understand what are you claiming. Maybe i don't understand you.No_Use wrote:I also hate Flash sites.
One reason is that I'm an absolute "open link in new tab" browser-guy to be able to switch back quickly to the tab where I came from.
Most (if not all ?) flash sites don't let me do that, I get this stupid flash settings menu instead if I rightclick a link.
Oh and while I'm at it, I also hate embedded flash music players that don't have a volume control, because the volume control on my amp is broken currently.![]()
Thanks for reading.

Oh and while i am at it, embedded flash music player can have absolute control (level, whatever) - again it is up to developer not up to Flash. In case you didn't noticed NI player have volume control. It is quite obvious actually.
What do you want it to do? Play?Right clicking it will only give you info on the thing itself, and if you have the dang thing installed...sheeesh.thecontrolcentre wrote:Same here. I hate flash sites. Am I doing something wrong then ?![]()
How about having the NI forum open in one tab while browsing new products in another (just as example).trimph1 wrote:What do you want it to do? How about left clicking the thing?
On my Google Chrome I rightclick on the tab, not on the site itself, just the tab...there is a dialog box that opens up and on it there is "Duplicate"....I click that and I get the exact same webpage....thecontrolcentre wrote:I want it to open in another tab when I middle click (with the scroller) like an HTML link would.trimph1 wrote:What do you want it to do? That also works in FF, I tend to forget about it, so thanks for mentioning it.trimph1 wrote:On my Google Chrome I rightclick on the tab, not on the site itself, just the tab...there is a dialog box that opens up and on it there is "Duplicate"....I click that and I get the exact same webpage....thecontrolcentre wrote:I want it to open in another tab when I middle click (with the scroller) like an HTML link would.trimph1 wrote:What do you want it to do? Me too. Makes browsing sites ten times easier and quicker when you can open "sub-pages" in tabs and then wander through them one by one.No_Use wrote:But rightclicking on a link -> open in new tab (or scrollwheel-click) is something I do so often (I usually have several tabs open from a specific site), it distracts me everytime when this is not working on a flash site. I know, little thing actually, but I still find it annoying.

We are talking about Flash menus that are often used when a web designer wants to have animations, boingboing symbols etc. You CAN NOT open them in a new window/tab with a right click or similar.kmonkey wrote:dude what ancient computer you have?
