Just wanted to share a nice little ACE trick!
Maybe everyone already knows about it but I'll post it nontheless
Sometimes you want to pan each voice differently and that's very easy to get if you use the mod mapper. But sometimes you already used the mod mapper for something else.
Wouldn't it be cool if there would be a voice CV output?
If you have 1 unused envelope there is such an output
Just set the attack of this env to 0 and the release to 100, Choose "Voice" as the modulation source for the env level (the dropdown menu under the right knob) and turn the mod depth to 100.
Now stack some voices and route the env to pan
That's it!
Of course you don't have to route this to pan. You could use it to set the cutoff or LFO rates (damn, I have to try that myself
Here is a little example patch which sounds like a 90s house stab with a modern sound if that makes any sense (which it probably doesn't

Here is your homework
- Play with the env settings! If you set the sustain to 0, choose a high decay value and route the env to pitch you'll get a cool THX sound

- You don't have to choose voice in the dropdown menu! Try random for example!
- Pray to Cthulhu that my PC doesn't crash again during a very long rendering process!
And do your homework
Cheers
Dennis
