Can you tell us anything further? Are we close to a release this month for MachFIVE3 and updates for BPM & UVI Workstation? I'm mostly interested in the BPM update since some of the major features have required attention with the 1.5 paid update. In particular the sampling and clip window crashing problems.

Please throw me a bone to keep my spirits up! Thanks.
Hi,

* Website, manual, audio demos and stuff like that are being finished for M5v3.
It shouldn't be much longer but unfortunately I can't say more as I have no control on this. The manual is going to be huge FWIW.

* BPM update will follow after the M5 release. The bugs you mention are fixed in our in-house build. We just need to check regression bugs as soon as M5 is released.
CPU optims and stability improvements has been made during M5 development on the engine so BPM will benefits from those as well.

* UVIWorkstation update is currently in progress. We are quite happy so far with the result. Scripted instruments with custom UI will make their appearance.

By the way, BPM will have a 64bits version on OSX as well: StandAlone and AudioUnits so far

Great news on the fate of BPM!! As a slightly frustrated BPM user, all I can say is, finally!

Is the next BPM update going to offer any exciting new features besides osx 64bit n bug fixes?

curious if we will see anything new other then that?

Not much. NoteRepeat fixes(now absolute which make way more sense), FX processing in sample editor as well as minor fixes here and there.

Sometimes stuff takes more time that you would have though.
(making demo, website, manual)

Sorry about that.

Still it allows us to perfect the software in the meantime :)
Hi Tristan,

If I buy M5 2 now, will I get M5 3 for free? (grace period as we call it)
Cheers

Olivier,

Any status updates? Really anxious for the BPM update. Any progress on the M5 release?

Thanks,

Mark

Does Mach Five 3 plan on releasing an rtas version as well? M52 never worked for me in PT on pc,the mac version worked ok.. this is not acceptable,I'm just saying.

Hi Oliver

I may have missed this earlier, but is the Mac Clip Editor crashing when the sensitivity slider is moved, bug sorted? It is a BIG one- 1.5 has never been able to import audio and slice it successfully.

Also, this is really odd, but I never know which Kit is loaded as that information is not visible anywhere- unless I've missed something.

Thanks

Andy

Don't know much about this.
You will need to contact a MOTU representative for confirmation.
